I have recently started to build a Lorica Segmentata, ( out of leather of course ) and was wondering if any of you knew where to get the Hinges for it? and also where to get a Plume for the helmet?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

| I may be wrong but I believe that Tristans leather segmantata was made from stuff at steffans. You might just call them and ask if you don't already know. But I thought Pete got everything from Steffans. |

I've never used hinges in the 4-5 suits of leather lorica I've constructed. They're just not necessary - but I suppose they'd look pretty.

nice work.
Yes, Veatrus' leather segmentata has no hinges on it. I did use laces for front and back though, much easier (and cheaper) than buckles. the shoulders were made out of stainless and titanium.
