Well, after a great deal of thought I have decided not to run Brushwood this year (2010). It was a fun event, but I feel that with Dagorhir growing at the rate it is, as well my own personal life, there is just need for a camping event around this time of the year. What I plan to organize in place of Brushwood is a chapter (guests welcome) semi-mundane camping weekend at the Brushwood Folklore center. Camping, cooking, and of course casual non-organized pick up fighting if people like. Nothing formal. I will just provide a date that I plan to go, and an open invite for people to join me. More details to follow (much further down the road) so keep an ear to the rail.
Thanks. _________________ Sir Magnus of Narnia, bearer of the Sword of King Peter.

I would very much like to come camp out with you guys. Although i will say there are a few people who are broken hearted that there is no ghosts of brushwood this year. But i know that you need to do what needs to be done. _________________ -Kili |

I'm glad to hear that folks will miss it. Gladly it was not a lack on interest issue. I think the camp out in its place will be a great deal of fun. I will provide more details as we go forward. I won't be posting about it on the National boards since it is not really a Dagorhir event, so please direct interested people here for more information. _________________ Sir Magnus of Narnia, bearer of the Sword of King Peter.
