I'm going to do an order with an SCA armorer for some polished 18 gauge stainless brig plates, 2"x3", laser cut with holes on all four corners. Seventy-five cents each.

These will make the prettiest damned brigandine in the world.

Anyone wants in on this, let me know. I want money up-front though. You've got until the 15th.

That's $75 from Matlock and $150 from Scraps.

To make these Dag-legal you'll need 20 plates per square foot, if that affects your orders. I have also made sure to specify with the guy that the corners should be penny-round.

Be aware that I'ma skim a couple bucks off each person's order to cover shipping. I have orders from two other people plus myself so far.

These are at my house. I'll start bringing them to events so people can get them. I"ll be at the Winterfell battle this weekend, and the Festival of Horny Blades on the 24th.
